I had the pleasure to document the Highlight Pro Skydiving team on commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, the women’s right to vote. On August 26th, 2020, Women’s equality day, they celebrated the day by doing some demonstration jump at the Woodlawn Cemetery at the Bronx, New York. In which resided some famous pioneers of the women suffrage movement.
Co-Captain, Melanie Curtis embarked in a flawless demonstration jump that showcased her skydiving skills and displaying the colors of the women’s suffragists movement along her canopy ride. Use your voice. Use your vote.
The bold brave women of the women’s suffrage movement fought for 72 years to secure the right to vote for women in the United States. They honor them this centennial year on the 100-year anniversary of the 19th amendment by encouraging us all to stand up and be heard. To use our voice and use our vote.
